Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, a multi-talented actress director, producer, playwright, teacher, and director of drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to the British father and English-Turkish Cypriot mother. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements in her youth. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She eventually shifting into Los Angeles, California, within the next decade.
